Erik Kessels is famous for his work in communication and art, not for his interior design. Therefore, when creating this office for a day, he didn’t start with a blueprint of the clock tower, but with an idea. The result, The Clockwork, is a collection of clocks re-appropriated and covering all walls and the ceiling.
An office for a day that evolves around the concept of time. Where anything can happen: a day full of elevator pitches, a coaching session or use it as VIP lounge. You can rent it for as long as you want, as long as you keep in mind that every passing hour, the clocks chime once more. Once your time is up, all of them go off, resulting in a cacophony. Curious how to stop this sound? You will understand when you’re there (spoiler: it’s something with a big red button).
The artists ‘Children of the Light’ made sure that your guests enter The High Light in a very special way. You never get a second chance for a first impression right? Capital C knows how to impress. The combination of light and sound will guide you to this impressing High Light of our building. This kick-off of your event, really kicks ass!
The only way is up, until you reach The High Brow Bar. This lounge has an iconic round bar with an even more iconic view over Amsterdam, whichever side of the bar you are having your drink. The space fits up to 250 people, making sure that each one of your guests will find someone nice to talk to.
The Above is a spacious conference room with a stage and a view. Next to it is The Beyond, a conference room as well. Each conference room can host up to 70 people and comes with a stage. Capital C is centrally located at Weesperplein and is easily reachable by car. Possible car routes are via the Wibautstraat (Knowledge Mile), the Weteringschans or the Stadshouderskade. Keep in mind that there's always the chance road works in Amsterdam, so plan your route ahead of time and check the traffic info. You can park your car at one of the Q-parks around the corner. From there it’s only a 10-minute walk to Capital C. If you prefer to come by public transport, you’re in luck. The Weesperplein metro station is right next to the door and tram 1, 4, 7 and 19 stop right around the corner.
